We would like to thank all of the people who attended our first event in honor of the late Monte Gano. Monte was one of our founding board members and an avid rodeo man. He was well liked in this community and always ready to greet you with a hello and a smile at the meat counter of Mountain Market.  All of the people who have helped support our ranch are helping us to live our dreams; we hope we have helped them realize their dreams as well.  In these trying times when the world is changing around us and people have come close to forgetting the essence of our great American west, the values that many of us grew up with, such as taking pride in long days of hard work and the value of a handshake, are still very much alive on our little ranch. We know some of the people who have helped, and some are new friends.  We gratefully thank you all and the greater Mountain Empire community for all of your gracious and generous support.
